I hope this is another instance of proper Oppo hitting the edge and then backing out again, but if it’s not... dang. Met a lot of people here both online and in the real world that apparently exist. I have friends from this place. This place pushed me to buy my dream car and drive it 1000 miles home. This place was the stepping stone to some of the coolest things I’ve ever done including being able to write for money about cars. It’s a sad day but I guess it was in the works.

We’ve got pretty good sources (i.e. FP staffers) telling us that this is, indeed the end....but join the Discord or Mastodon servers to at least keep up to date on the news so we can all make sure we wind up at whatever out new home is!

To be honest, I haven’t tried either yet, so not sure how much I can help. If you’re on the Discord, maybe comment there? I know several people have mentioned in the chat there that the got it to work fine and could likely help you?

I’ll link this there in case anybody has suggestions! What’s your problem exactly?

Mostly not being good at the in depths of computers hahah. Its funny how I inspect code, check configurations and get in depth to many computer things at multi billion dollar companies but cant figure it out for myself to save my life

I mentioned your trouble on the Oppo Discord in the self-archive section so hopefully somebody might be able to give you some pointers and help!

P.S. - I forget where it was mentioned, but there’s also apparently a Chrome/Firefox extension called ‘Save Page WE’ that might also be easier for you? I think it saves pages as PDFs or something like that, preserving text and images...?
